Mumbai: Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped serious injury after three men on a motorcycle fired at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Three people have been detained in Kota, Rajasthan, in connection with the attack.

What Happened

The shooting took place on Sunday evening, October 18, near Pushpa Park in Juhu. Three attackers on a motorcycle opened fire on the actor’s car. Shroff was not seriously hurt, but two others were wounded: his driver and an autorickshaw driver, who both suffered gunshot injuries.

Video Shows Actor Moving to Driver’s Seat

A video from the scene has gone viral online. It was reportedly filmed by a bystander and shows Shroff quickly getting into the driver’s seat and shutting the door. The car starts moving soon after, and the clip ends shortly afterwards. The authenticity of the video has not been officially confirmed, and it is described as “purported.”

Police Form 15 Teams

Mumbai Police have launched a large investigation. They have formed 15 teams to trace the attackers, and officers are going through CCTV footage and forensic evidence.

Police have recovered the motorcycle the attackers allegedly used. It was found near Andheri railway station. According to reports, the shooters were seen running towards the station after the attack, and investigators are using camera footage to trace where they went next.

Three people have now been detained in Kota, Rajasthan. Police have not yet shared details about their role in the case.

Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the shooting. Two alleged members of the gang, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, said in social media posts that they were behind the attack.

The gang also issued a threat to people in the Mumbai film industry. It warned those who work with actor Salman Khan, or who ignore its warnings, that they could face similar action.

However, Mumbai Police have not officially confirmed that the gang was involved. The motive behind the attack is still under investigation, and police have not said whether the gang’s claim is genuine.

What Comes Next

With the detentions in Kota and the recovery of the motorcycle, police appear to be making progress. But many questions remain. Investigators still need to establish who fired the shots, who planned the attack and why Shroff was targeted.

The incident has raised fresh worries about safety in Mumbai’s film world. Several celebrities in the city have faced similar threats in recent years, and the latest attack is likely to bring more pressure on the police to act quickly.

For now, the actor is safe, and the two injured men are receiving treatment. Police have said the investigation is continuing, and more details are expected as the detained people are questioned.
